本文首先对UWB无线通信技术和基于接收信号的到达时间差(Time Difference of Arrival, TDOA) 算法的国内外发展现状做了简单说明介绍。之后对UWB室内定位系统的应用进行了详细的说明,并对几种定位算法的实现进行了理论分析和推导。在此基础之上,通过对UWB室内定位系统的硬件模块介绍,提出了TDOA算法在嵌入式室内定位系统中的实现。最后,通过在HainanEVK实验平台进行室内定位测试,对定位结果进行误差分析并测量系统功耗。大量的实验分析和性能比较表明基于TDOA算法的UWB室内定位系统在精确定位的同时,能减少基站与终端的相互通信,从而降低系统的功耗,在-定程度上更适合于多标签大规模的室内精准定位。
随着无线通信技术的快速发展以及人们对定位服务需求的日益增多,无线室内定位技术正在获得越来越多的关注。由于全球定位系统(Global Positioning System, GPS)是专门针对无线室外定位功能而组建的具有特定结构的室外定位系统,其用于室内定位无法获得所需的有效信息.故如何选取--个无线通信技术用于室内定位系统非常关键。相比于目前室内定位所采用的无线通信技术如WIFI、蓝牙、红外、超声波、射频识别等,超宽带(UItra Wideband, UWB)技术具有低功耗、低成本、抗多径干扰能力和穿透能力强等优点。它是一种新的共享使用频谱方式,可用于任何一类通信系统,其在10米左右的范围内可实现数百Mbit/s甚至数Gbit/s的数据传输速率,远远超过其他通信系统。
